"Error on Page"

When a website is done loading, it either says "Done" or "Error on page" on the bottom left corner in Internet Explorer.

How could I fix this if I do not know where the error came from?



Also, what is the HTML code to make a link without the underline showing?

The error warning usually comes from bad Javascript code, if you've got any JS running on your page or any Java applets, that may be the cause.

ok, concerning the error...double-click on the warning triangle next to the "error on page" message, and a dialog will pop up, giving some indication of what the problem is. and yes, javascript is the culprit.

also if you have netty (netscape), on your machine fire it up and put the URL into it. then type in

javascript:

over top of your URL (do not add to it). A Javascript Console will open up. I prefer this to IE to debug code as it explains in much more detail what your error is

From there if you need help debugging, post the error message in the right forum and someone here will help you
