    different hyperlink styles on one page

    I have a site with the same navigation bar which is #include(d) on each page.
    The Nav bar uses a blue background with white text, but I want the hyperlinks on the rest of the site to be blue on white.

    I've read the Designing Without Tables book many time and I can't figure this one out. It seems that one part vof the page inherits from the other.

    Help Please

    Try something like this:
    Code:
    <html><head>
      [title & other headers]
      <style type="text/css">
        a:link { background-color: white; color: blue; }
        #navbar a:link { background-color: blue; color: white; }
      </style>
    </head>
    <body>
      <div id="navbar">
        <a href="...">link 1</a>
         [etc.]
      </div>
      <div>
         [the rest of the page goes here...]
      </div>
    </body>
    </html>
    If you're already trying something like this, post a link and/or your code here, and we'll have a look...
