webbot... what is it?

Ive been viewing someones source code for several of their pages and keep seeing tags with "webbot" in them. One of which is their sites search engine.

Is this some sort of script?
I get the feelings it has to do with frontpage but am unclear on it.

WebBots are the scripts of FrontPage. The site probably has a search engine made with FrontPage 2000.
