    best current DTD?

    Is it this?

    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0
    Strict//EN" "DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1">

    I'm losing it with all these changing standards. I was thinking of making this my standard dreamweaver/homesite htm. Is this a good idea?

    XHTML Strict is good, but make sure the rest of your code follows the specs of the document type
