    Hi,

If you look in the calender you will see my birthday is coming up and I convinced my parents to get a new computer. Now, I have a limit of around 2000$, what I need is a good computer, above 800mhz, preferebly a Athlon TB, over 128mb, over 25gb of HD and a 64mb VCard... Now, I prefer brand names, I want something that'll hold for a year or two. Also, if you do build a spec, can you post where you built it or where you got the price for each part? The rest is up to you.

    Thanks,
    Itay

I think with that amount, you could build a good one! But with brand name!! I don't know if you could get all you want.
Btw, if you are living in US then I don't know such a good place

Problem is I don't live in the USA, I live in nowhere AKA Israel =)

I know I can get a brand name, HP has a really good Athlon 1GHZ with everything I want and a nice CDRW and a DVD-Rom for 1800$. But they dont really ship to Israel so I am still looking and I think the memebers here can help me out a lot.

Does Dell ship to Isreal? I would imagine so. If you're going to buy a desktop Dell is probably one of the best brands available. Fabulous support and the machines are very well built - it allows lets you customize the specs, since each computer is built specifically for each matching order.

Save for Dell, I'd have to recommend Compaq - I'm quite happy with mine.
