    Do you own a download?

Does anyone own their own downloadable software that you market your selves?

Anti-spam? Toolbars? Browsers? Wall papers? Anything?

If so, how successful are you at doing so?

How many downloads to you distribute per week?

I posted this in another thread, but did not know the best one to do so in.

    Thanks,
    Loren

Here are 2 of the software programs we have out right now. Each of these were developed in house and the full versions are only available from us, although we are open to partnerships with other parties.

    Route Control
An add-on for Microsoft Train Simulator, launched in December, 2001. These days we get 5 to 10 downloads per day of our free demo (5.5MB) although when it was first released there were many more. We do anywhere from 2 to 8 sales per day depending on the time of month\year, although when it first launched we were doing an average of 18 per day, which was nice for such a niche product.

    ZoomAView
A desktop magnifier mainly designed to help visually impaired people (and my Grandparents) see their computers easier. Launched in May, 2003. Only about 2 downloads per day (if even that!) of our free demo (1.6MB) and approx. 1 sale per month. ZoomAView is not our most successful software, lol.

    Hope this helps!

We own the product Screenswift. It has emerged as the most used flash screensaver software. We receive 1500-2500 in a week.

How does this information help you?

    Cheers,
