Changing the pointer to hand shaped

Hi,

I would like to iplement clickable smilies, I just found this nice javascript function

however I would like when the pointer is hovered over the smiley, the pointer should turn from arrow to hand , is ther ea simple onmouseover that can do this

i don't know about mouse overs.. but you could use css..
have the it like this:
//file called name.css (type exactly as is from img to })
img {
cursor: pointer;
}

//your page with the smiles
before the </head> tag put
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="name.css"> <- just make sure name.css points to where name.css is saved.

it should now have it so the pointer appears when over images.
if by pointer you mean the arrow... change pointer to default in the css file.
