Where do I stand when publishing new articles ?

I know that as soon as you publish your own work it is copywrited, so when I publish mine and my writers articles should I trhow up a copyright notice anyhow..

    what should it say ?

    how about this ?

Copyright 2000 by Daniel Clough, Wanna Be Big Online. All Rights Reserved.

OR seeing as this is the slogan at the bottom of my site :

Wanna Be Big.com - The Ultimate Bodybuilding Resource.

Should I just throw a copyright 2000 at the end of it ?

2000 by Whomever. All Rights Reserved. is generally adequate, and in line with what the US Copyright Office requires.

There's no harm in also adding something along the line of: "Duplication or redistribution without permission is prohibited." -- though, strictly speaking, it's redundant; as copyright reserves those rights for you to begin with.

For the straight story, clearly writ with all the details, may I suggest you visit the definitive source:
