free Whois name search for my site?

I am looking to add the Whois domain name search to my site.
Does anyone know a good site that will host this script for me.

You mean a remote-hosted whois script?
If your host allows you to run whois command, get a simple script at: http://www.cgi-resources.com or http://www.hotscripts.com
If not the case, I don't know of a service (you could become an affiliate of a registration service, then they will give you a whois search, and you also get commission too - check out http://www.itsyourdomain.com if you're interested)
