Hello, I have searched endless hours looking for simple professional navigation icons such as the ones used on the tops these forums. (i.e. The circled icons next to Profile, Chat, Calender etc.)

Does anyone know of a site that has similar icon sets in a variety of colors? I have been to numerous icon sites, but keep coming across the same old icons.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. - Thank you

    Hi,

Sparkie who is one of the moderators at this forum made the buttons at the top of the page. I think she got the icons ofr theb from the webdings font. Dingbat fonts are a great way to create icons.

At the end of the day, you are never goign to find "professional" free icons. You could though, as has been suggested, try using a dingbat font to create some yourself. This will also mean that they are much more original.

I designed the forum icons using some of the "webdings" and "wingdings" fonts which I believe are standard on any computer using Windows. You can find a good selection of similar fonts at http://www.dingbatpages.com.
