actually me too... it's very important, for most users I'm sure, to be able to see all your previous questions and replies thereto (and if not, not sure you guys should be migrating to a system in which users won't be able to do this....)
my two cents....;-)

We are migrating data over to Discourse, so no worries there.

I am looking forward to the changeover. Discourse is a HUGE improvement over the current forum.

curious as to what made you choose discourse over something like xenforo, invision, or one of the others. i do know getting away from VB as fast as possible is the best thing you could do!
but what piqued your interest enough to choose discourse? i tested it out and as much as i like simplicity, i just think there wasn't enough robust forum features there, not ones I would see you guys using here at least.
look forward to hearing from ya, Hawk.

Thanks!! Didn't see that one!
I read it and I liked it! Soon I'll be able to just "LIKE" it without me even saying it! I like how it will hopefully provide a more holistic and positive approach, as well as the community flag system. I moderate a few forums myself - so if they ever switch to discourse, they might not need a moderator!Last edited by Mittineague; Aug 26, 2014 at 21:52.

Thanks
I'm not sure if I should pass out cigars and get ready to pop the champagne or crawl under the covers and hide.
In any case, the way vB has been acting lately I can't imagine the unknown being much worse.
EDIT
Looks like it was the second. The migration has been pushed back a bit yet again.Big Change Coming Soon - if you want your PMs save them now!

well am sure it'll be great. and yes it should be better than the weirdness of the inconsistent experience that posting has been lately.
