Please help out: cross window action

    Hello,

First of all i must admit i know very little about Javascript. I know some basic things but i am not a programmer. The beauty of the internet is that some people let you use their script for your own website. This is beautiful but not allways completely satisfying.

Now i have this script that moves a photobar when a user clicks on a link. This script works perfectly when the link is in the same window as the photobar but now i would liketo use it in a frameset.... In 1 frame there is a navigation and when a user clicks on one of the items that current page refreshes and i would like the photobar in the top frame to move.

Is there anyone who would like to help me out please?

You can see what i mean at: www.deloft.nl/test.htm
The actual javascript can be found here: www.deloft.nl/scripts/MoveFotoos.js

    Grtz Dave

    Check out:

    http://tech.irt.org/articles/script.htm

(both the articles and FAQ sections) for loads of JavaScript/frames information. Maybe someone will rewrite the script for you, but if you end up having to do it yourself, irt.org's a good place to start.

As i said i now nothing about writing javascript, how ever what i think should be done is rewriting the javascript in a way that the frame in which the action should be performed is specified, am i right??

If so it should be one single line somewhere in the script. The problem is where? and what should tat line be?? Hopefully one of you guys can help me out!

Now i have read the articles on the links you posted but they only talk about new pages in different frames or redirecting pages but i want an action to be taken on a pgae without refreshing it.
