    i did that ill it gave me was this gig *** file the did absolutly nothing

    seems like you know very little about apache maybe using google for a couple mins would help you understand better.

    iv used apache b4 but i9 cant figure out the apache webserver

    apache is the same thing as the apache server,i mean if you've used apache before then this should be a cake walk for you.

    i need the whole server i cant get ne of it i cant figure out the apache download centr i know how to do php and all that i just cant get it

    If the extension of the file is .MSI, just simply double click it and it would start the installation
    If it doesn't then you need to install the MSI Installer from microsoft.
    if you can't find that just simply download and execute this file ...

    ok i did it again it downloaded as a win fip file but........ when i unziped it it came out as the same file

    php 5 shouldn't be used because it's still in the beta stages and plus it doesn't work all that well, so you'll need to download php 4.3.3.RC4 instead.
