how to make the page occupy the full screen irrespective of the screen resolution

I am working on this website http://www.myshehar.com and am a novice in html.
When I open the webpage on my machine it occupies the full screen if
I try to open on another machine it there is a 1 1/2 inch blank space
on the left and right side of the page.
This variance depends on the screen resolution.
Can somebody please tell me on how to make the page occupy the full #
screen irrespective of the screen resolution.
    Thanks
    -------------
Somebody suggested that this is because my pages are using fixed 778px wide layout.
So I changed the fixed width to 100%
http://www.myshehar.com/test.php and even then the problem is not solved.
I am not at all a html guy the person who was maintaining this had to leave due to an emergency and I am trying to fix this.
    Any help is appreciated.

because you are using fixed table widths instead of percentages. Change the outer table to 100% and you can adjust the inner table with the main content to 100% as well and it will expand to fit any screen resolution.

Have you tried setting your page margins to 0 ?
After the third time of reading the instructions,
it finally soaks in to my thick skull.
