    If your website has 2 pages with same page content and different urls then search engines considers it has duplicate content, so to tell the search engines that its actually same page you need to add a rel=canonial tag to the page. to know more about canonical tags search for canonial tags or duplicate contents on google...hope this will help you.

    Canonical issue is the problem when a single site open with diffrent urls says http://example.com or www.example.com This problem is canonical issue in SEO. The search engine cannot understand that both the http://example.com and www.example.com are same urls.For solve this problem use canonical tag .
