Jagged Lines?

I attached an image of what I am trying to do.


I basically took a line and used the shear filter on it. Any idea of how to do something I am trying to do without having jagged lines? I've tried the pen tool, but what happens is I have to curve the top and then the bottom which doesn't sync both curves together...

yes, i'm having difficulty grasping what you mean by "I have to curve the top and then the bottom..."

Oh damn... I just forgot I could stroke the path...

What I did was made a one pixel high path and by doing that, I had to grab the anchor point on the top and pull up, and do the bottom anchor the same way...

nevermind... I was an idiot earlier..
