    I am wondering how I can give a different CSS property to a table. I know how to make it so a specific link gets a different CSS property, but not a table.

    Any help is appreciated, thanks!

    AJ...

    Without knowing exactly what you are trying to do, I would give you the following advice.

    If you want to apply a style to a table (or any element) you create a style like so: (leaving out the style tags)

    .body_table {font-family: verdana; font-size: 12pt; }

    then when you are typing up the table, you call the body_table style using this method:

    <table class="body_table">

    Like I said, the same method applies to any element that you would like to style. Say for example you had one piece of text in every paragraph that you wanted to be red. You set the style like so:

    .warning {font-family: verdana; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold; font-color: #660000; }

    Then you could call it like this:

    this would be the normal body text in the paragraph and <span class="warning">this would be the red text</span>

    The benefit of using a span tag is that it has no inherent properties of it's own. It is merely an empty container.

    Hope that answered your question.
