Need Help Looking for Domain History

I need help looking for information about an owner of a website domain. However, the website expired earlier this year and am unable to use WhoIs. I am aware of DomainTools services but the price for their service is a little expensive for my budget at the moment. I checked Wayback Machine and the site was not archived so that isn't an option either. The domain of the site is BlackFoxRec.com.

If you don't mind me asking, why do you need details of who used to own the domain? It's currently unregistered and available.

Actually, I would like to cancel this. As for the reason, my coworker had some business with the individual who owned the site. However, since the email the individual provided was with the domain, we were unable to get in touch with that individual since it no longer was valid once the domain expired. We figured we could have searched the WhoIs to obtain the email that was workable. Lucky for us though, we found a partner of that individual and was able to get the information we needed from them. Thanks for any assistance that would have been provided anyway.

Hmn..I am a little confused with your reasoning..your first post indicated that you need help to check the history of the domain since it expired and no longer listed in WHOIS then on your second post you said that you want to cancel the domain name. If it has already expired why cancel it? When a domain name expires the domain name gets deleted on registry level after 60-90 days so I think it's kinda pointless to contact whoever owns the domain to cancel it..Just my thought..

I believe Elli21486 meant that she would like to cancel this query, rather than the domain name, as the situation has been resolved.

(I think I'll close the thread to avoid further confusion.)
