    What is the difference between record and row in databases?

    Ummm, nothing

    Think of an Excel spreadsheet or any tabular data really, the "rows" across are called records, and if you think of the "columns" down, that are called fields. That is the correct names but really, it doesn't matter. People will know what you're talking about regardless of what you call them
