Your question is wide open, however,

Check On page Metas, make sure there is no keyword stuffing.
Focus on quality content, post it in your own website blog if there is any
Search for the related forum/market places to submit your products / services
Avoid focusing more on keywords and anchors, follow the general marketing techniques and you will see rankings will follow you.

but let's be serious for a moment, it really is much for a good quality content plus some (not much) quality backlinks

this days I'm majorly following forum and blog commenting and press release and article submission. this boosts my keywords in the SERP and also provide me with some quality backlinks too. I also at times opt for directory and URL submissions.

Forum and blog commenting is very unlikely to get you backlinks - certainly none worth having.

Most reputable forums and blogs mark external links as nofollow. Even where this is not the case, links which you can easily place yourself are not generally given much weight by search engines - especially if they appear on a page with numerous other links.

Dropping links on a forum is more likely to get you banned than to get you backlinks.

And please read post #3 and confine replies to what's NEW.

Thread closed, as the OP has never returned and it seems there are no new strategies.
