Hittest uses

What would be a good example to use Hittest in FlashMx.

I think I understand it, but not to sure when I would use it.

Could you use it the same way you would create a dis-jointed rollover in Fireworks.

hitTest is used to determine when one movieclip has hit another - this can be helpful in a game for example.
