Did I pass 4000 already? Must be the 641 posts I made in October.Originally posted by KeithMcL

October was our highest posting month in the history of Sitepoint. There where two others beside myself that had more than 600 posts (123Finder.com and TWTCommish). Also we pulled in over 11,000 posts and 300,000 page views last month.

I had over 600 in October? Whoa - I didn't know I was hooked THAT badly! Congrats on 4K Wayne - I'm destined to be #2 for life, but I can deal with that.Originally posted by W. Luke

And sorry Chuck: General Forums posts don't count against your total anymore.

Guess some of the coming days, I still have to hideout
Now the desktop crashed and have no time to fix, exams coming! Oh, don't want to think about that!
Anyway, when I get back, hope there are a lot of posts for me to replyLet see the counter spinning later on..

I've been on a posting spree - that's what happens when I have some free time where I feel like semi-working, but not *REALLY* working, if you know what I mean. Much easier to try to answer questions and/or just voice my opinions/recommendations on things than it is to actually work on a website.
I have to admit, 123Finder has come out of nowhere, but these forums are definitely better because of him (or are you a her?) - I hope you'll stick around!
Really? what a let down
I know how you do it though.. I came here earlier only to see that the "Last Poster" for every single forum was TWTCommish.. how can you make a post at every single forum within a few minutes? I think you've got some sort of team helping you..
What forums DO count towards my ttl?

All except the General Forums.
They weren't within a few minutes (it's impossible, I think the flood-locking is still set to 60 seconds, so it'd have to be at least a minute inbetween each post).
I kind of got on a roll posting in different forums and decided to go for all of them - but no shameless post padding, I went out of my way to make sure I was genuinely contributing something to the thread.
It's the second time I've done that - am I a loser or what?
Let me say this to you Chris: I honestly don't know how you manage to do all the work you do on your projects AND make dozens of thought-out posts here every day.
Not that I disapprove of your presence here, hell you're great. But think about this. Just imagine how much more you'd get accomplished if you only made 5-10 posts here instead of 15-20 each day
But perhaps I misjudge how much time is spent here.. i dont know.. its late. I wonder if this will make sense in the morning
that gets me thinking... how much more would I get done if I didn't poke around here as much as I do? (spend WAY more time reading than actually taking part in discussions.. the Chat made me lazy :P)
Hmmm.. perhaps we need a support group to help us cut down..
chuck

I don't think Matt and Co. would like that at all.
Thanks for the kind words - how do I do it? Microwavable foods and biting off people's heads if they annoy me even a little bit.And yeah - I would get some more done if I didn't post here so often, but I would know as much as I do right now, and I would have the sense of fulfillment that comes with helping people - which can be quite a rush.

I think I will stick around unless I start to hate SPF!! ;D
Posting on SPF seems to be a way to release stresses for me (well, at least I believe so! maybe in fact it builds up more!!)
