Automated subscription to RSS feed
Hi everyone,
I got a tricky question today (at least for me)... We have this client at work who's interested in providing an RSS feed to its visitors, but finds the process of registration to a feed is way too complex for the average (or underaverage) user -- that is, pasting a URL to an xml file in an aggregator and completing the software's subscription process.
He's asked us if it was possible to simply have a link that could be clicked (or in this case, one or more checkboxes that could be checked) to automatically insert them as feeds in the aggregator (say, feeddemon). I have never heard of any such thing and I'm wondering if it's at all possible.
Is there a way to create some sort of procedure that could get into any type of aggregator and make this process automatic ?
Thanks in advance for your answers and time.Denis Boudreau <C²/> - Web Standards & Accessibility

Scott Johnson blogged about this a few days ago.
So, take a look at that, it should answer some questions, but shortest answer:no, longer answer: partially, and longest answer:read Scott's post.TuitionFree — a free library for the self-taught
