Simple FTP question. Server setting info. ftp.domain vs domain

Setting up my new FTP. Entering all the settings. Various settings work. Which is best?

So the question is... ftp.domain vs domain

They both connect to the server. Both work. Whats the difference and what correct? The IP works too.

I don't believe there's any difference other than domain is easier to remember than IP.

They're just setting a connection to a location. If each connection works and they all take you to the same place, then they are the same.

Moreover this really doesn't matter for FTP -- no host headers are taken so as long as you can resolve the address it doesn't matter.
