    scrollbars on div?

    hi,

is it possible to emulate frames, by using divs with scrollbars that then display html? scroll must work well on touchscreen without lag as good as normal scrollbars. this to get rid of frames and keep scrollable areas with good user experience.

    thanks for your input, advice.

You can set a height on a div and give is overflow: auto or overflow: scroll to create a scroll bar.

As ralph said, by overflow auto or scroll it will create an actual scroll bar, not faking/emulating, and yes it will work without any lag, on any device.
