    hi

take a look at the source. i did and did not find any unusual fonts, just the normal helvecia, arial etc.

so i think it is a graphic image.

realizing that many test images are created starting with a known text and modifying it to the desired effect. it is possible to take a tool, (i use 3dgraphics pro) and build your own from an existing.

    peace

Menace...I emailed the guy that does that site but he has not gotten back to me yet.

If he does, I'll let you know.

BTW...don't ever be afraid to email a site and ask them that question. If you are polite enough, most designers would be MORE than happy to tell you what they have used.

Creole, I couldn't agree with you more.

When I was in Secondary School, I once called a company who were advertising in a magazine to ask the name of the font they had used for sub-headings. I was promptly put through to their design team, and the guy I spoke to checked it out on the Mac while we spoke on the phone.

That's the sort of company I like.

    Thanks saltire

SOme other poster asked the same question about the font used by InfoPOP on their website. I sent email to their webmaster and got a reply back the next day telling me what the font was. The girl was extremely helpful and sounded really cute (but that is besides the point)

    creole,

I've emailed the webmaster a while ago and was actually waiting for some time and gave up hope. I'm pretty sure I was very polite, but this is not a first. I've ran across alot of stingy designers, where they don't want to give up their secrets or sources.

Menace...don't feel bad. I've emailed him twice and have heard nothing. However, I don't take that as a snub...I just assume that he is either busy or does not check his email often.

No biggie either way. I'm just sorry that I could not answer your question
