header question - stretching to fit page

    Hi,

I have created a header I'd like to add to a web page. I am not sure if I am going to have a set width page yet or one that stretches with the browser.

I've created a header that I would like to use. But it is a static header. How can I tweak this so that it won't look warped if the page changes size? I will try to attach the image below... Is there a tutorial about this out there? I am using Photoshop CS4.

    Thanks for your help...

I'm way out of my league here, but what I would try is to take a slice off the end and x-repeat that slice, not stretch the image.

    EDIT
Looking again at the image, better yet the "solid blue" between the left and right sides eg.
    repeat-x
    float left, z-index
    float right, z-index

It would be better to add the components of that image separately—flowers as a separate bg image, logo separate, and the text as real test. Much more accessible and flexible.
