Post Mockup to static HTML CSS page

Hello all, it is nice to be here. I hope that I learn a lot.

Here is my problem then, I have been sent a mockup image to convert it to a static page using HTML, CSS.

Although I understand what I have to do when it comes to HTML and CSS, I cannot understand how I am supposed to take what I see in the image and manipulate it into turning it into a website.

Meaning, do I use Fireworks or Photoshop each and every piece of the picture and then place it inside the code? I hope I made myself clear. Thank you very much.
    Best Regards

Hi Noble day. Welcome to the forums.

You could, but be careful. Use the image as a guide only. You wouldn't want to insert text as an image, for example. Hopefully what you have been given is some kind of layered document so that you can get various assets separately, such as a background texture or whatever.
