Hey i'm having a problem with some tables... i already posted about it.. but im going to post again because its changed

    check out this site:
    http://smoke.csoft.net/~marc/estock/index02.html

up in the top right, i have that gradient fading from the color of the bar to the background... but it does not cover the entire height of the table.. there is that strip of solid color right below it showing... i don't know how to get rid of it..

and i know the code on that is all messed up.. i have a cleaned up and commented version of it at :
    http://smoke.csoft.net/~marc/estock/index04.html
but i left the gradent out of that one.

    any suggestions????

Try setting the height of the gradient image file to 100%.

I manage to fix it in a way I believe would work with Netscape as well (sorry I don't have Netscape installed at home).

    Here's what I did.

    1) Remove all extraneous white spaces
    2) Made the height of the dot.gif used in between the text 1
    3) Removed the superscript used in the date.

I could email you a copy of what I did if you want.

yea that'd be great if u could... mawk@yifan.net is my email address..

i understand steps 2 and 3, but i don't know what u mean by extraneous white spaces... there's not a single white thing on that page (as far as i know or see)

I forgot that IE messes with the code when it saves HTML files locally. Send me the file at tzinmein@planetevillage.com.
