    MySQL and PHP Books

I was wondering if you guys could recommend some good MySQL & PHP books. I have heard good things about Kevin's book and about O'Reilly's Web Database Applications with PHP & MySQL, how do the two compare? I don't really need to know the e-commerce side of things. Are there any better books that you could recommend? Thanks for the help.

I'm using PHP and MySQL Web Development, by Luke Welling and Laura Thomson, Second Edition. Published by Sams Publishing, "Developer's Library". Its a great book, and while its very light on complex detail, it demonstrates a lot of what it's talking about with code examples and such. The documentation at www.php.net fills in anything that isn't in the book anyway, and it works very well for me Good luck!

I just check that book out on Amazon. It looks very good. I have only one quesion though. The reviews there seem to mention that there is a lot of errors in the examples. Did you find that to be the case?
