Hi guys
I have recently installed Apache/php/phpMyAdmin and MySQL on windows xp pro system
All seems to work apart from MYSQL
I am a complete newbie to server side dev so maybe i am missing something simple but it is driving me mad.
I can find apache happily at localhost - php files are working but when I go to phpMyAdmin I get:
cannot load MySQL extension,
please check PHP Configuration
I have installed the MySQL version : mysql-3.23.57-win at c:/mysql, and i get the trafic sign icon with green light on my task bar, I have also downloaded the MyODBC driver but hasn't helped.
It is as if everything is installed and no errors but apache/phpMyadmin just isn't seeing MySQL.
The Mysql documentation is a nightmare - I am completely lost.
Any ideas?
