How about some sticky content and value additions to make people keep coming to your site? An online contest, discounts on certain occasions, basic stuff like that. If people like the site they'll spread the word around... you'll get more traffic that should hopefully translate into more business...
SEO is not all that simple. And most web developers forget about the traditional advertising methods to promote the site. Advertise in local mags, put up banners, include your web address in your letterhead, visiting cards, etc...
all the best!

Be the change you want to see in the world.

This thread should name to "15 Golden Guidelines for success in web world"
Excellant thread
I love this, I think it's right on. . . I work in biotech, with a lot of people whom I refer to as "brilliant ideas people," which you perhaps more aptly called "the useless dreamers." I don't have many big, brilliant ideas, but I'm the "implementer" in my group. I've always harbored this secret feeling of satisfaction because I'm the one who actually gives life to the ideas. Implementation may not be "glamorous," but it's very satisfying in its own right.Originally Posted by micmol

I was doing some reading through this 'making money online' forum and I actually had one to add to the list.

You will be making money online by doing currency exchanges. I put $300 and my account has grown to over $12,000 in less than 10 months. Soon I'll be able be making enough on the account alone to work a few hours a day from home and I'll be making 2 times my current income. This is a serious home income stream that is very doable by anyone. You can contact me directly with any questions or even better sign up!
Do I Have Your Attention Yet?
If so, then go to the website to learn who's behind this discovery, exactly what this is all about, and how you're going to have the opportunity to expand your business and personal finances (and especially your income) in a major way!
If you are looking for a "work from home" income this is the place to look.

i have my own website ( www.mycl-site.com ) and it is very simple.. whoever likes to make money online is invited to check it out.... also, by joining the program, you can advertise your sites with it so that others can view your site and bring traffics.... i advertise my programs with it and it really works out.... that's the best traffic-exchange so far, and i've been their member for almost one year... it is highly recommended
feel free to drop message to me here ( or personnally )

Malden.

I don't agree with point 7.

Closed thread. It's old, and now has become nothing but a place for people to SPAM.
