    Mod rewrite to ignore #anchors

    Hi Folks,


    I need to write something into my .htaccess file to prevent the current mod_rewrite script form redirecting when it encounters a simple <a href ="#anchor">
    I can't find the answer on google. Can anyone help?

    Anchor strings aren't actually sent to the server at all, so mod_rewrite will never be able to detect that. Sorry.
