    remove*ask*search*toolbar

    Ask search toolbar takes over my chrome homepage somehow. I did not install anything recently, then i deleted the program from my computer (via control panel), but toolbar still has a presence in my computer, i want to thoroughly delete it. someone give me a removal guide link <snip/>, But it requires to download sth, so can someone know whether it is reliable? , and my OS is windows 7, Please help!

    You may need to delete it from your Chrome add-on list.

    Lot's of program updates like java and adobe will pre-select options to install the ask toolbar (and maybe other stuff you don't want) if you don't pay enough attention during the update.
