Unhappy A former employee of mine joined gmail with my domain name. How do I get it back?

I would like to use my domain name@gmail, for myself. Google gave me a code to add as a Cname and instructed me to point it to Google. The results should be back by now. They said this would prove that I own the domain name. Is there another step I need to take?

Hi KEYSTONEMERCH. Welcome to the forums.

If I were you, I'd sign up for a Google Apps account. It's not very expensive (used to be free, but no longer, unfortunately), and allows you to have email addresses at your domain name (e.g., even though you are still using GMail. Much nicer ffrom a business point of view that having an @gmail address.
