    MYSQL SERVER FROM THE PROMPT

    Hello all
I'm new, I wonder if you know how it connects to the MS-DOS prompt, "Mysql server"? I am reading the book by Kevin Yank! Thanks

Hi keyboardistdenny, welcome to the forums

On my setup the shortcut goes to
    Code:
    "C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.1\bin\mysql.exe"
So it depends on where you installed the mysql.exe file.

Using EasyPHP, it should be located in
    C:\Program Files (x86)\EASYPHP\MySql\bin\
