    html email

    Hi All,

I want to add some dynamic features to html emails... I'm only really concerend with outlook at the moment, so I'm not too fussed about the issues surrounding AOL, and web based email.

Would I be right in assuming that the only 'dynamic' bits I could add to a html email would be client side and as such the only viable route to take would be javascript?

Also, does anyone know of the DOM to access parts the internet header of a message (i.e. to, from, content type, etc..)?

    Thank in advance,

    Richard

I don't think using script in an html email is a very good idea...
And most people will have scripting disabled

In fact, people should disable scripting in OL...

Right, and many many email hosts will strip it out, send a virus warning, or send the recipient a warning email in it's place.

    Not a good idea.
