    The simple answer: Frames.

    Create two frames, one at the top only 1px high and the whole width of the screen and another below it, which is in effect your site.

    Load all the pages into the bottom frame and the URL at the top will always point to the frameset page, which will probably be just your domain name or site home.

    That's how frames forwarding of domain names works.

    Hold on, I think, do you mean the browser's URL box or the status bar? If it's the status bar you need this script:

    Code:
    <!-- ONE STEP TO INSTALL DEFAULT STATUS MESSAGE:

      1. Add the onLoad event handler into the BODY tag -->

    <!-- STEP ONE: Insert the onLoad event handler into your BODY tag -->

    <BODY OnLoad="window.defaultStatus='Hello!';">

    <p><center>
    <font face="arial, helvetica" size="-2">Free JavaScripts provided<br>
    by <a href="http://javascriptsource.com">The JavaScript Source</a></font>
    </center><p>

    <!-- Script Size:  0.27 KB -->
    That still changes though when you move the mouse over a link, so what you're going to need to do is put this script in each link that puts something in the status bar whe it's hovered over. For example:

    Code:
    <!-- ONE STEP TO INSTALL LINK MESSAGE:

       1. Add the specified code into the BODY of your HTML document -->

    <!-- STEP ONE: Put this code into the BODY of your HTML document -->

    <BODY>

    <CENTER>
    <A HREF="http://javascript.internet.com" onMouseOver=" window.status='Go back to my home page by clicking on that link!'; return true" onMouseOut="window.status=' '; return true">Home Page - Look at the status bar for a description of this link!</a>
    </CENTER>

    <p><center>
    <font face="arial, helvetica" size="-2">Free JavaScripts provided<br>
    by <a href="http://javascriptsource.com">The JavaScript Source</a></font>
    </center><p>

    <!-- Script Size:  0.46 KB  -->
    If there's a way to make the default message stay put even when you hover the cursor over a link i'd be happy to hear it!

    Hi jorgemme & welcome to the forum that has your coding problems in its sites

    As you can see from Fluffykins' reply, there is some ambiguity in your post. If you would be so kind as to elaborate some (perhaps with an example or some code you've tried), I/we will see what can be done.
