    I was curious if anyone knows if i can get vhs video into my computer through a voodoo 3 3000 AGP video card, edit it with adobe priemere, and send it back to a new tape via my voodoo 3 3000

    yeah, just use your composite in/out on your capture card.

    uh....i dont have a capture card. All i have is a Voodoo3 3000 AGP Video Card

    then... why did you think you could get vhs video in? i was assuming that was a capture card.


    Be nice, the reason he is asking is because he doesn't know and wants to take advantage of the expertise available on the forums.

    Something you could try:

    I don't have a video capture card, just a Voodoo 3D FX thingy. A friend of mine lent me his Iomega Buzz which acts as a capture device for all types of media, I was watching cartoons while he did this, but all he did was plug the video player's output lead into the Buzz, which was plugged into it's interface card in the PC and it worked.

    I hope that helps a bit! It might be hard to get hold of one for PC though cos I think they've been discontinued

    if you have a free pci slot, get studio pctv. its only $39 bucks, and it acts as a tv tuner, vhs, and dvd capture device. those external devices usually produce low quality video and cant capture at very good frame rates.
