    Magento Site Speed

I am currently working on a site www.megasuits.com. It is a Magento CE 1.7.2 project and the site is very slow.

We are currently hosted on a dedicated server at zerolag.com. We also have caching and CSS/JS minification on but the site is very slow. Can anyone give us some suggestions on what can be done to speed the site up?

Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you!

I don't know anything about Magento myself really but the company I work for (I do development on a completely unrelated project) released an extension called Turpentine ( http://www.nexcess.net/magento-turpentine-extension ). It seems to be rather popular. They also have a white page available which talks about what they've done to optimize a server for Magento. You should be able to find a link for that from their home page.

This is correct. Nexcess has released a very informative whitepaper that is all about how to optimize Magento for the best performance. Here's a link. You'll find quite a bit of helpful info in here. http://www.nexcess.net/magento-best-...ces-whitepaper
