    Hi there,

I am planning on getting a new comptuer soon... my on question is what should I do with my current hard drive. I want to keep ALL my information that is currently on it. Do you recomend that I just install a second hard drive (the one I have now) on the old computer?

I will also be going from WIN 98 to ME... so I might have a problem when I open one hard drive and then another

I always make a Ghost of my machine every 6 months, I suggest you do that with your hardrive. Also, back everything you have onto CD just in case!

I would recommend the same. I normally un-install everything just in case I forgets something I want to save. And remember to take back up of ALL your documents, bookmarks etc.

Last week my my mother board "melted" so I decided to buy a whole new computer except for a new harddisk as I had just bought a 30 GB drive. Hopefully it will work when I set the computer up later today.

    Wish me luck
