Well, I'm just a few posts from 1,000. It's been fun.
I remember I had just about 25 in the early summer.

remember though, numbers don't mean anything! You just have to look at the users who have recently been made moderators. it is not about how many times the post, but what they post! You should all aim to post at least one informative, helpful post a day than 10 one liners with little or no significance.

    Nicky - I agree.

    hehehe.

Just thought I would throw in my one-liner.

Marc, Congrats. 1,000 is a big accomplishment.

I was wondering how many posts it would take til someone said that. Concerning the moderators: some of them only had like 3 posts, so it seems as if their acceptance was more based on their application and past experience.

But yes, we all know: quality of quantity. Anyone who posts often without substance is recognized as such basically everytime. No fooling anyone here!

I've said it before, but I was pretty shocked when they made me an Advisor. I applied thinking I wouldn't get. I hoped I might, but my expectations were low. I write it off as a lapse of judgment by Wayne and company. LOL!

I've enjoyed being an advisor, but it does keep you busy. It's not all that glamorous. I read about 50-150 posts a day checking for guideline violations and considering replies of my own. I enjoy the work, but it is work.
