    CSS Text Positioning

    Hi,

    I have a problem with my CSS. I want it so that the 'Click Me!' text is lifted slightly higher, not sitting on the image underneath.

    This is my code:

    HTML Code:
    a.nav{
    text-decoration: none;
    color: #000000;
    text-align: left;
    height: 10px;
    padding: 5px;
    font-size : 12pt;
    font-family: verdana;
    display: block;
    letter-spacing: normal;
    border-top: 5px solid #829ca2;
    border-bottom: 5px solid #829ca2;
    }
    Thanks!

    Remove the top and bottom padding and use line-height instead. If that doesn't help, post a working example so we can see what else is going on around that element.
