ie won't show picture, why?

maybe its something obvious which i haven't noticed yet, but if you'd like to compare

you might be able to tell me why the top left picture ("home"/logo) does not display in IE on 'dev2'.

the difference in the code is that in 'dev' the <div> containing the logo is 'on its own' (above the navigation), in 'dev2' however its simply inserted into another <div> (containing the navigation as well, which does display fine)...

I'm not very knowledgable with CSS, but I did notice that the CSS for the logo in the 2 files is different. Have you tried using the same CSS in new.css?

well that's the point... when i did it first, i just put one <div> after the next, however, i'd like to nest the two <divs> on the left into one big <div>... i just don't see why IE won't display the pic on the top right no-more... :rollyeyes:
