What are good free FTPs for Win 7. The only one I found reliable was "Classic FTP"

Anybody have any experience with another free FTP for Win 7 ? I am looking for an alternate (there are many free 32 bit FTPs but my Win 7 is 64 bit). I have intermitting problems with 32 bit software.

    Hi,

    I heartily recommend FileZilla: https://filezilla-project.org/
It is very stable and under active development.
I have been using it for several years across various Windows versions (including 7) without a problem.

I've been using Filezilla for several years as well. It works on both 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows.

There is a built-in command line ftp client in windows 7.

I like WinSCP which does FTP as well as SFTP and SCP. For myself I find the winscp interface easier to use than the filezilla UI.

Funny the first post in the forum is exactly what I came searching for. I apologize if there are rules against hijacking a post - I looked and didn't find any.

I am wondering if the consensus is Filezilla on an FTP program. It seems to be what everyone is recommending. I'm going to look at WinSCP.

I've used WebDrive for the past 5 or so years but lately the bugs have been driving me insane and I need a different solution. I love how WebDrive works sort of like a virtual drive but with the configurations saved into the program instead of my OS. Is there anything like this out there? I am really not a fan of Filezilla but maybe I just have to get over it.

    Thanks much.

Do you mean something like this: http://www.netdrive.net/
I used to use netdrive, but it got me into the bad habit of always working on the server.
I find Filezilla much better, as you are forced to work locally, then to zip your changes across.
