newWindow[1] to newWindow[2] when opener is closed

Can I send to newWindow[2] info from newWindow[1] when the opener of the two windows has closed?

I have used the onunload of the opener to start a setTimeout in newWindow[1], but I want to call a function in newWindow[2] thats triggered in the loop.

I don't want 2 individual setTimeouts in the new windows as I need to syncronise them.

In short...no...The opening window holds the variable to the created windows and it is this that is required to be able to write to the created windows.
