    New to SQL and confused

    A bit new to the MySQL world.

    To the point:

    Using note pad I created a file test.php and inserted this code:

    <title>Today's Date</title>
    </head>
    <body>
    <p>Today's Date is
    <?php

    echo( date("l, F dS Y.") );

    ?></p>
    </body>
    </html>

    This is what I get back in the browser:
    Today's Date is 1, June 2052 2003.
    This is what the source of the HTML says:
    <title>Today's Date</title>
    </head>
    <body>
    <p>Today's Date is
    Friday, June 20th 2003.</p>
    </body>
    </html>

    I am confused here. The source looks correct but the results in the browser are all wrong.
    Any advice here? Thanks
