    Does anybody know how to have a link that launches an exe file from within a web page so it dosnt show the download options box

    Can't do it... That kind of security is handled by the Client's browser. If they removed that then people with malicious intent would simply embed viruses, trojans and other bombs right into their webpages.

    If they could do that, they would create a webpage with a "Dancing <<Insert Small Fuzzy Animal Here>>" and millions would be infected in hours.

    Exactly... your best option would be to just link to the file on the page. Just use the same HTML code as a regular link.

    Hi,

    I'm personnaly notsure howitisdone but I've seen a bank use an exe on the server side, they were using ASP so I'm not sure if wouldbe the same as refering to a Dll.

    Probably didn't help much butmaybe someonewill be abletotell you (and me) how that bank did it
