    WHOIS Bookmarklet

    I would like to create a bookmarklet so I can click on a favorite in my browser so it would do I WHOIS lookup on the website http://www.whois.sc/. It just needs to take the domain name of the current page that is being viewed and get the domain without the http://www. so it would be something like http://www.whois.sc/domain.com

    Can somebody who is familiar with Javascript make this into a bookmarklet? I would really appreciate it.

    Interesting. I've never seen a WHOIS that allows querystring based lookups without any sort of additional confirmation. Many of them these days are moving to image-password verified output for security purposes (prevent email address farming, etc)

    But - here it is anyways
    Code:
    java script:void(top.location.href="http://www.whois.sc/" + top.location.href.match( /(?:https?|ftp):\/\/(?:www\.)?([^/]+)/ )[1]);
