    Hi,
    I again have a question.I want to keep track of user navigating my web site i.e.
    a.There name?
    b. Diffrent pages they visit with approxiamate time?
    c.Which Web site they go after leaving mine?
    Prabably I can get there name from "REMOTE_ADDR" but How to get other information?
    I will be greatfull if some one can help

    YOu could use some tracker, either remote-hosted or in-house like hitbox.com, sitemeter.com, many more, just search for "website tracker"

    But I don't think you could know their names! Unless those are registered members and you use session management in php.

    Hmmm...well, I know you can track a variable that increments everytime a new IP visits the site - that part should be relatively simple. However, I'm not sure how you would lower the number upon a visitor leaving.

    TWT the only way I can see of doing that is for every external link to go through a redirect page first on the site, but even then it doesn't account for people who type something new in the address bar.

    The best way I think you can do it is to track the user by their IP in a database, record what time they entered the page and then use a script to analyse the data e.g. Pull out all occuranses of the same IP address for a specific day and see what pages they looked at, in what order and for how long.
